LUMOR J (HF) Aerosol 400ml is a high-sensitivity fluorescent magnetic ink used in non-destructive testing (NDT). It contains finely divided fluorescent magnetic particles suspended in a hydrocarbon carrier fluid, which emit a bright yellow-green glow under ultraviolet (UV) light (365 nm). The formulation provides excellent particle mobility, strong magnetic response, and reliable detection of surface and near-surface defects.
Usage
Used in magnetic particle inspection (MPI) to detect cracks, seams, inclusions, and other defects in ferromagnetic materials such as steel components, welds, and structures. Commonly applied in industries like oil & gas, aerospace, construction, and heavy fabrication. The aerosol format allows easy spray application during inspection processes using UV light.
